Good news at all of Avery's appt's

Avery had 3 appt's this week. Tuesday she had physical therapy and occupational therapy. They come out to the house once a week. Wednesday she had her vision checked again. Her left eye that had become lazy after  surgery,  has corrected itself. I asked him about her eyes and how sometimes they look crossed. He said she is not cross eyed. The bridge of her nose is wide and flat, so it appears that way. As she grows this will change. He showed me how if you point a flash light in her eyes, the dot of light should be in the center of each eye, if its not then thats how you can tell if she's cross eyed. I also asked him about another Dr. telling me she was farsighted. He told me that all babies are a little farsighted at first. So her eyes are normal. YAY!!!!! Thursday we went to Vent Clinic at U of M. Her appt was 3 hours. She saw 7 different people. 3 from pulmonary, neurosurgy, social work, nutrician, and occupational therapy. Now thats a way to do an appt. They were all amazed at how well she is growing and progressing. They don't want to see her for a couple months. This week has been great!!!

Enjoying my time at home

Avery, Madi, and her BFF Logan

We are loving our new home. We are still so excited about living in such a nice house. There are many boxes to go through still, but we'll get there. Avery has 3 appointments this week, physical therepy, eye exam and pulmonary, so it will be busy. Our oldest daughter is having some issues with a girl at school. After several mean texts from this girl and awful language. She expressed how she wishes Madi's sister would die. Seriously who says that!!!!  Of course Jeremy and I will be at the school tomorrow to resolve this. Kids can be bullied so many different ways now that its hard as a parent to monitor.  We have had several people give us old furniture to fill our new house. This was one of my favorites.

Life is good.

The Parker family is finally back in a groove. The kids started their new schools today, yay for structure. Avery had an appt for her 9 month shots. She had a clean bill of health, finally!  We have been so amazed by her willingness to move. She rolled over for the first time yesterday, I was so happy. Such a small milestone for most, but for her a hurdle. She is also trying to sit up on her own.  She brings me such joy. We are slowly getting things unpacked at the new house. I am still in awe every morning when I wake up. I can't believe I am living in my dream house. I was a bit worried about Madi starting the new school today,  but when I picked her up  she skipped all the way to the car. She had a great day. All the things she had worried about turned out to be nothing.
